Imperative Sentence


          A sentence that expresses a command, a request, or a desire is called an imperative
          sentence.

            1.  Please lend me your pen. (request)

            2.  Deepa, open the door. (order)

            3.  Do not waste your time. (advice)

          Exclamatory Sentence

          A sentence that expresses some strong or sudden feeling is called an exclamatory

          sentence.

            1.  How beautiful the rainbow is!

            2.  What a wonderful job you have done!
