        Objective:

        To collect the data and represent it with (a) pictograph (b) bar graph.

        Materials Required:

        Any article from newspaper or magazine, graph paper, colour pencils, sketch pens.

        Procedure:

        1.  Read the article in a newspaper carefully.
        2.   Note down the number of words having one vowel, two vowels, three vowels and so on in that article.
        3.  Record your observations in your notebook as below.

              One Vowel


              Two Vowels



              Three Vowels


              Four Vowels


              Five or more Vowels


        4.  Select an appropriate scale and represent the data in the form of a pictograph and a bar graph.


        Conclusion:
