Let us construct a wave of central length 8 cm by following the steps given below:

Step 1 : With A as the centre and a specific radius (i.e. 2 cm) draw a
semi circle that intersects the line l at points P and Q.

Step 2 : Again B as centre and specific radius (i.e. 2 cm), draw a
lower half semi circle that intersects the line l at points Q
and R.

Now joint these both figures by super-imposing the point Q of both 4 Q R
figures and the combined figure looks like given below. P 4
So, with the help of these semi-circles, we have constructed a wavy wave.

Construction of Eyes

Before start to construct the figure of Eye, we have to sketch
the prototype (standard).

Now, let us construct an eye by following the steps given below:

Step 1: First of all, we have to sketch or draw a horizontal

A Step 2: Now take an one-one point ‘A’ and ‘B’ on both
sides of this line l and mark in such a way that the
B distances between point and line must be same.

This arrangement is shown in figure:

Step 3: Now set up a particular distance in the compass and tip of the compass A
is placed at point B. After that an arc is sketched in such a way that arc
cuts the line l of point m and n. Similarly this process must be repeated m n
for point A. And this arrangement looks like as given.

Step 4: Now mark a dark dot at the middle point of mn in such a way, an Eye is
prepared. Now for the pair of this, Repeat this process and prepare just
symmetrical figure of this. B
