Division of Money

We can divide money by a given number just like ordinary numbers. To divide an

amount, we follow these steps:

Step 1: Convert the amount into paise.
Step 2: Divide the paise by a given number.

Step 3: Convert the quotient back into rupees.

Example 1: Divide ` 8.30 by 5.

Solution: ` 8.30 = 830 paise
