Check: Divisor × Quotient + Remainder

= 2 × 136 + 1 = 272 + 1 = 273 = Dividend

� Remainder is always less than the
divisor.
� If remainder is more than the divisor,
it means division is still incompleted.

When we divide any number by 10

� The digit at ones place becomes the remainder.
