Example 2: Convert 3815 p into rupees and paise. Fact-o-meter

Solution: 3 8 Quotient (in `) To convert paise into rupees, put
100 3 8 1 5 a dot (.) after two places from
3 0 0 right. Remove ‘paise’ from right
8 1 5 end and write ` at the left end.
8 0 0
1 5 Remainder (in p)

Thus, 3815 p = 38 rupees 15 paise = ` 38.15
