of a selected shape.
• the Demote option to decrease the level

• the Move Up or Move Down option to change the order of a selected shape.
• the Right to Left option to switch the layout of the SmartArt graphic

between Left to Right and Right to Left.

PowerPoint modifies the SmartArt graphic as per the selected options.

To change the layout of a SmartArt graphic:
1. Select the SmartArt graphic.

2. On the SmartArt Tools Design tab, click the More 2
button in the Layouts group.

The SmartArt Layout gallery appears.

It displays available layouts for the selected SmartArt 3
graphic.

3. Select a layout from the gallery.
The selected layout is applied to the SmartArt

graphic.

Formatting a SmartArt Graphic

You can apply predefined styles to a SmartArt graphic or change its colour scheme

to enhance its appearance.

To apply a predefined style to a SmartArt graphic:

1. Select the SmartArt graphic.

2. On the SmartArt Tools Design tab, click the More

button in the SmartArt Styles group.
