Advantages of Verbal Communication
The advantages of verbal communication are as follows:

Disadvantages of Verbal Communication
The disadvantage of verbal communication are as follows:
u It may lead to missing some messages if the conversation is lengthy.
u The message may not be understood clearly due to language barrier.
u There is a chance of leak of secret information with the help of modern devices.
u It may be difficult to understand the message due to poor connectivity.
u An ambiguous message may create misunderstanding.
Effective Components of Verbal Communication
The components that make verbal communication effective are:
u Language proficiency: Knowledge of good grammar helps in good communication. It helps to express our
thoughts clearly and effectively.
u Vocabulary: It helps in the selection of suitable words in various situations. Having good vocabulary is a
great tool in communication.
u Listening: Listening is a key component of our learning process.

in the chosen area makes us well informed about the latest happenings.
Non-Verbal Communication
Non-verbal communication includes non-verbal stimuli generated by a speaker in a communication setting. It
involves sending and receiving messages through gestures, facial expressions, actions, body language, and other
aspects of your physical appearance. A lot of communication comes from non-verbal cues like facial expressions,
tone of voice, and your body stance.
