PROJECT - 6
          Objective

        Measurement of growth in plants.


          Materials Required
          Arc auxanometer and a potted plant

          Procedure
           1.  Take a healthy potted plant. Tie a string to the growth tip of the plant.

           2.  Let the string pass over the pulley of the arc auxanometer.
           3.  Keep the set at a suitable place in the lab for a few days and note the growth. Note the position of
              the pointer. (Keep watering the plant regularly.)

          Results
           1.  As the plant grows in height, the pointer shows changes in the scale.
           2.  With the growth of plant, the pointer indicates the growth.
