                             Beautiful Cities





        In every country, there is a city that draws people’s attention. It could be a beautiful city or exhibit a
        great history displayed in its fascinating buildings or fabulous museums.
        Let’s read about some beautiful cities.

          1.  The capital of Czech Republic, Prague, is regarded as one of Europe’s
              finest cities and a major cultural and economic centre. It is famous for
              its cultural life and rich architectural heritage. The famous composer
              Mozart  lived  here,  and  his  famous  compositions  like  ‘Prague
              Symphony’ and ‘Don Giovanni’ were first performed here.



                                      2.  Kyoto  was one of the  largest  cities in  Japan. It was its capital for
                                         more than 1,000 years from 794 to 1868. It is the centre of traditional
                                         Japanese  culture  and  Buddhism.  All  Japanese  people  try  to  go
                                         there at least once in their lives. It has several historic temples and
                                         gardens.



            3.   New York City is one of the largest and most influential American
               metropolises in the United States. It is known for being a global hub
               of business and commerce. It is well known for Times Square, one
               of the busiest places in the world, and structures like the Empire
               State Building and the Statue of Liberty.


                                          4.   Cape Town was the site of the first European settlement in South
                                             Africa and hence is known as the country’s “mother city”. Part
                                             of the city is situated on the iconic Table Mountain, which is flat.
                                             The  architecture  of  the  city  reflects  a  lot  of  Dutch  and  French
                                             heritage.



            5.   Singapore is the capital of the Republic of Singapore. The city has
               been  an  important  port  city  since  medieval  times.  Even  today,
               Singapore has one of the busiest ports in the world, which makes it
               a great commercial centre. Also called the Lion City or the Garden
               City, Singapore is known for its many parks, tree-lined streets, and
               a clean and safe environment.

                                      6.   Bengaluru,  in  India,  is  called  the  Indian  Silicon  Valley  as  it  has
                                         the  highest  number  of  software  companies.  A  well-planned  city,
                                         Bengaluru is one of the largest cities in India. Bengaluru is also called
                                         the Garden City. It is a large and growing metropolis, and has some
                                         of the most well-recognised colleges and research institutes in India.
