2. In the To box, type the email address
of the recipient.
3. In the Subject box, type a short
description of the email message.
4. In the message area, type the
message.
5. Click the Formatting button and
use the various options on the toolbar
to format the message as desired.
6. Click the Send button to send the
email.
A confirmation message appears on the screen indicating that your message has been sent.
A copy of the sent email message is stored in the Sent Mail folder.
Knowledge Discovery Subject Enrichment
• To send a copy of the email to other recipients, select the
Cc (Carbon copy) option and type the email addresses of the
recipients in the Cc box.
• To send a copy of the email to other recipients without letting
the recipients know about it, select the Bcc (Blind carbon
copy) option and type the email addresses of the recipients
in the Bcc box.
Replying to an Email
You can reply to a received email.
To reply to an email:
1. Open the email message to which you want to reply.
2. Click the Reply button.
A text area appears below the original email message.
