To delete a field from a table:

              1.  Open the table from which you want to delete a field.
              2.  Click the column header of the field you want to remove.

              3.  On the Table Tools Table Fields tab, click
                  the Delete button in the Add & Delete
                  group.
                  A message box displaying a warning appears.
              4.  Click the Yes button.                                                 4

                  Access deletes the field from the table.

            Renaming a Field
            You can rename fields to make them more descriptive.
            To rename a field:
              1.  Double  click  the  header  of  the  field  you  want  to

                  rename.
              2.  Type the new name and press the Enter key.
                  Access renames the field.

            Moving a Field

            You can move fields to rearrange them in a desired order.

            To move a field:
              1.  Select the field you want to move.

              2.  Drag the column header of the field to left or right and drop it where you want to place it.

                  Access moves the field to the new position.
