INSERTING SHAPES
            Different shapes can be inserted in a slide to present content in an eye-catching

            style.                                                                                   1
            To insert a shape in a slide:

                1.  On the Insert tab, click the Shapes button in the
                    Illustrations group.
                    The Shapes gallery appears.

                2.  Select the shape you want to use.
                3.  Click and drag on the slide to draw the shape of
                    the required size.
                    The shape appears in the slide with a boundary
                    around it. Use the handles around the boundary

                    to resize or rotate the shape.

                4.  Type the text you want to add to the shape.

                5.  Click anywhere outside the shape to insert it in
                    the slide.                                                4

                    When you insert  a shape in  a slide, the  Shape
                    Format  tab  appears  on  the  Ribbon.  It  provides
                    options  to  format  the  colour  and  outline  of  a

                    shape, and apply effects and styles to it.









            INSERTING TEXT BOXES

            A slide contains predefined placeholders for text. If required, new text boxes can be
            added anywhere on a slide to insert the required text.
