Spreadsheet software is used to enter data in a worksheet that has a tabular structure

made of rows and columns. It also

enables you to perform calculations on
the data, represent data in the form of Microsoft Excel Gnumeric LibreOffice Calc

charts and analyse it.

Microsoft Excel, Gnumeric, and LibreOffice Calc are examples of spreadsheet software.

Database Management System (DBMS) Software

A database is a structured storehouse of data
in the form of records made up of one or more

fields. Microsoft Access Oracle

DBMS software is used to create and manage

databases. It allows you to add, retrieve, search,
sort, and print information easily from a database. MySQL

Microsoft Access, Oracle, and MySQL are examples

of DBMS software.

Desktop Publishing (DTP) Software
Desktop Publishing software is used to arrange text

and graphics into professional looking documents such Microsoft Publisher Adobe InDesign

as brochures, magazines, newsletters, and posters.
