                                                     Work with Master Slide

            Master Slide is used to set a customized theme for all the slides or for the slides that uses a specifi c layout. It
            helps to reduce the efforts of applying common styles, formats or objects which is to be used in other slides as
            well. You can also use Master Slide option, if you want to make some modifi cations in the selected theme of
            your presentation. A master slide has a defi ned set of characteristics, including the background color, graphic,
            or gradient; objects (such as logos, decorative lines, and other graphics) in the background; headers and footers;
            placement and size of text frames; and the formatting of text.

            Creating Master Slide
            Step 1:  Click the View menu.
            Step 2:  Click the Master Slide option. The Master slide will open for editing. You will see the layout changing
                     in the Master Slides pane. In the pane, you can see several choices of different master layouts to apply
                     on your slides.




























            Applying the Slide Masters to all Slide
            Remember that any changes done in a particular layout of the master slide will be refl ected in only those slides
            whose layout matches with that master slide.
            If you apply a different master slide layout from the available masters, then you can apply it to all the slides or
            selected slides by right clicking on the master slide and selecting suitable option.














            To insert footers and slide numbers on master slide, click Insert menu  Header and Footer option.  The Header
            and Footer dialog box will open. Select suitable options for dates, footer text and slide number. Finally, click on
            Apply to All button.
