v Look at the Home key positions on the keyboard. Keep your fi ngers on these keys, and return to them
after pressing any key that is not on the Home row.
 Open Notepad and type the following letters and symbols given below:

 Type the letters given below. Include spaces. Always bring
your fingers back to Home row position. Press ENTER key
with your right little fi nger to start each new line.

 Place your hands ON and OFF home position four times. Make sure you are using correct posture and
hand position and type the words below including spaces.

v Open Notepad and type the letters and semicolons below. Include spaces. Always bring your fi ngers back
to Home row position. Press ENTER or key with your right little fi nger to start each new line.

v Start RapidTyping and complete the Introduction level. Now, display and note down the Student
Statistics for the entire course.
v Complete any lesson from the RapidTyping software and analyze and note down your errors from the
‘Results’ dialog box. Note down the:
 Errors in percent
 Delay in percent
v Open the RapidTyping software on your computer and do the following tasks.
 Do practice of two or three exercise.

 Open the Statistics window and review your overall progress.
v Add the following lessons in the lesson Editor under beginner course:
