The Subtotals dialog box appears.

Step 4: Specify options for the subtotals in the Subtotals dialog box.
                     • Select the field for which the subtotals are to be calculated in the Group by list box. For example,
                     Region.
                     • Specify the type of totals you want to insert in the Use Function list.
When you use the Subtotals feature, you aren’t restricted to having the values in the designated field
added together with the SUM function. You can find the number of entries with the COUNT function,
the average of the entries with the AVERAGE function, the highest entry with the MAX function, the
lowest entry with the MIN function, or even the product of the entries with the PRODUCT function.
Step 5: Select the check boxes for the field(s) you want to calculate subtotals box. Calculate subtototals for: List.

Step 6: Click the OK button. Calc adds the subtotals to the worksheet.

        What-If Scenarios
What-If Scenario is a set of cell values that can be used to perform what-if analysis on the calculations in the
sheet. You can assign a name to every scenario on the sheet. You can define several scenarios on the same sheet,
each with some different values in the cells. Then, you can easily switch the sets of cell values by their name and
        immediately observe the results.
                                                                                                             41
