Analyse Data Using Scenarios and Goal Seek

In general, a link is a connection between two different documents. It plays an important role in Calc while
working with large data. Calc allows you to link cells, worksheets, and workbooks to consolidate data from
several worksheets and workbooks. When data is linked, the linked data immediately reflects the changes
that you make to the original data. Linking is useful when user wants to retrieve required information from
different locations without re-typing and re-calculating everything once again. This saves time, reduce errors,
        and improves data integrity.

        Data Consolidation
Data Consolidation allows you to gather data from separate worksheets into a master worksheet. In other words,
the data consolidation function takes data from a series of worksheets or workbooks and summaries it into a
single worksheet that you can update easily.
Let us look at the following example. The two worksheets named as ‘Term 1’ and ‘Term 2’ are given here. Now,
we wish to enter the marks from the source worksheet ‘Term 1’ and ‘Term 2’ into the destination worksheet
        ‘Average’.
Step 1: Open two worksheets at the same time that you wish to link with each other.
