Let’s Learn Simple Future Tense
We use simple future tense to describe an action that will take place in the future. It
refers to a time later than now, and expresses a fact or a certainty. It is formed using the
auxiliary will/shall + main verb.
It is composed of two parts: will/shall + base form of the verb. For example:
He will come tomorrow.

We shall visit you soon.

Formation of Sentences in Simple Future Tense
The negative in simple future is formed by using the auxiliary verb will/shall + not + main
verb. For example:
You will not play tomorrow evening.

I shall not wait for you.

The interrogative (yes/no question) in simple future is formed by using will/shall +
subject + main verb. For example:
Will you send me the package next week?

Shall we wait for you?
O
The wh-question in simple future is formed by using the wh-word + will/shall +
subject + main verb. For example:
How will you react to the news tomorrow?
