Listening & Speaking Time
The teacher will call the students in groups of four, one after another group. To each
group he/she will give four group types. The four group types are:― 1. ‘physical quality’, ‘
2. non-physical attributes’, 3. number or age’, 4. ‘origin of a person or thing’. Each
member of the ‘group will choose one of the 4 types for his/her role in the activity.
The four members of the group will stand together and each will speak five adjectives
belonging to the type he/she has chosen. For example:
Student A chooses ‘physical quality’ as his adjective type.
Student A: short, round, heavy, thin, fat.
Student B chooses ‘non-physical attribute’ as his adjective type.
Student B: honest, foolish, red, black, cold.
