E-Mail
Just like letters, e-mails may also be formal or informal.
A formal e-mail is used for official communications like job application, business
communication, etc. They should be brief and to the point. Salutations and greetings should
be formal as also the tone and language.
Format for a formal e-mail

Subject (A few words on the reason for the e-mail.)

Salutation (Should start with a professional greeting. For example, Dear Sir or
