Dear Diary,
It is well past my bedtime, but I am too excited to sleep. Tomorrow, we are going to the
Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary for the whole day. We will be accompanied by our teachers and
coach. Our planning started the day we got permission from our Head Mistress.
The Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is near Delhi, and the bus trip will take about 2 hours. It is a
large area where we can hope to see birds as well as some wild animals. We have all been
told to bring packed lunch, and my mother is planning to bake a cake tomorrow morning
for the trip. Our coach, who will be coming along, has planned a cricket match. It will be a
teachers versus students match. What a fun! I have also packed my binoculars so that I can
spot the birds and animals from a distance.
And now, I had better sleep and wake up fresh tomorrow. Goodnight.
