When the root form of a verb ends in -ch, -sh, -s or -x, we add -es to the root form of
verb:

Use of the Simple Present Tense
This tense expresses a repeated or everyday action.
I get up every morning at 7 am.

We play in the park every day.

My father always speaks the truth.
O
We can use words such as always, usually, generally, every day and sometimes
with this tense. The action can be a habit, a hobby or a daily routine.
This tense also expresses general truths.
The sun rises in the east.

Plants grow in the soil.
