        Interrogative Adjectives

        An interrogative adjective is used with a noun to ask a question.

        Read the following sentences:

            Which colour do you like the most?

            What plan do you have?
        O
        In the above sentences, which, whose and what are interrogative adjectives because
        they are used before nouns to ask questions.

        Possessive Adjectives

        A  possessive  adjective shows  possession or  belongingness.  A  possessive  adjective

        answers the question: whose?

        Read the following sentences.

            That is my shirt.

            (Whose shirt? — my)

            This is your eraser.

            (Whose eraser? — your)

            These are her pencils.
        O
            (Whose pencils? — her)

        In the above sentences, my, your and her are possessive adjectives.

        Some other possessive adjectives are our, his, its and their.
