Singular Plural
Abuse means wrong use. Abuses means unjust practices.
Air means atmosphere. Airs means throwing weight around.
Content means substance or a Contents means the things that are
state of peaceful happiness. contained in something.
Water means a liquid. Waters means sea/ocean.
Quarter means one fourth. Quarters means residence.
Iron means metal or press. Irons means fetters/chains.
Good means benefit. Goods means consignment of things.
(D) Nouns plural in form but singular in sense: news, shambles, billiards, mumps,
etc.
