Work in groups of four. Each group must select one of the following topics. Circle the
adverb in each sentence. Also, state whether it is an adverb of manner, place, time or
degree by matching it to the correct oval.

four sentences based on the type of the adverb given as clue by the teacher. The teacher
will just mention any one kind of adverb and in response the student will speak out four
sentences based on that.
