                Underline the adverbs of degree in the following sentences.

                  Work in groups of four. Each group must select one of the following topics. Circle the
                  adverb in each sentence. Also, state whether it is an adverb of manner, place, time or

                  degree by matching it to the correct oval.

                      1.  I saw the boy yesterday.

              Adverbs  The teacher will ask the students to discuss among themselve the different types of
                  Listening & Speaking Time




                  adverbs learnt in this lesson. He/She will then make each student stand and speak loudly

                  four sentences based on the type of the adverb given as clue by the teacher. The teacher
                  will just mention any one kind of adverb and in response the student will speak out four
                  sentences based on that.
