Adverbs of Degree
An adverb of degree answers the question: how much? or in what degree? It tells
about the intensity or degree of an action, an adjective or another adverb.
Read the following sentences.
It was extremely hot yesterday. (How much hot? — extremely)

She was fully prepared for the test. (How much prepared? — fully)

The people there are too busy. (How much busy? — too)
O
An adverb of degree is usually placed before the main verb, adjective or another adverb.
Some other adverbs of degree are nearly, very, enough, quite, almost, completely, just,
etc.
