Adverbs of Time
An adverb of time tells us when an action takes place. It answers the question:
when?
Look at the pictures and read the sentences.
Rohan is buying the book today. Amit came to school late.
Here, today tells when Rohan bought the book, and late tells when Amit
came to school.
So today and late are adverbs of time or when words.
