                 Activity Time


                  Write five sentences on what you do in the morning. You may start with

                  “I get up at 6 a.m.”

                 Listening & Speaking Time


                  The teacher will plan an activity on verbs is, am and are with was and were and

                  verbs has and have with had. He/She will call four students to the front of the
                  class and divide them into two groups. For example: A and B students form

                  one group and C and D students form the second group. In this activity, first A
                  will speak three sentences based on verbs is, am and are. B will listen to him/

                  her carefully and later speak the same sentences by changing the verb to was

                  and were.

                  Similarly, C will speak out three sentences based on verbs has and have and D

                  will speak out same sentences by changing the verbs to had.

                  A → I am Ryan. She is Asima. We are in the same Grade.

                  B →  I was in Grade 2 last year. She was in Grade 2 last year. We were in the
                        same Grade.


                  C → I have a pen. She has a pen. We have a pen.
              Verbs  D → I had a pen. She had a pen. We had a pen.



                  The teacher will repeat this activity with other students of the class
