          Interchanging the Degrees of Adjectives

          We can make some changes in the sentences with the degrees of adjectives.
          A.   Positive to Comparative

                 Study the following examples carefully.

              1.  Reena is not so tall as Nancy. (positive)

              2.  Reena is less taller than Nancy. (comparative)

          B.   Comparative to Positive
                 Study the following examples carefully.

              1.  Neither boy is cleverer than the other. (comparative)

              2.  Both the girls are equally clever. (positive)

          C.   Positive to Superlative
                 Study the following examples carefully.

              1.  No other peak is so high as the Mount Everest. (positive)

              2.  Mount Everest is the highest peak. (superlative)
