Reflexive Pronouns

          Reflexive pronouns are personal pronouns, but they are called so as they reflect the action of the
          doer to him or her.

              1.  The queen saw herself in a mirror.
              2.   He praised himself.

              3.  We have satisfied ourselves.

              4.  God helps those who help themselves.

           Remember

           Reflexive pronouns end in self or selves.


          These pronouns are used for emphasis, too. These are also called emphisizing pronouns.

              1.  I myself cooked my dinner.

              2.  She herself did everything.
              3.  We ourselves saw the robbers kill him.

              4.  The Principal himself will mark our notebook.

              5.  They themselves will repair the pipe.

          Interrogative Pronouns

          Interrogative pronouns are used to ask questions about the nouns which they stand for.
              1.  Who has created the whole universe?

              2.  Whom do you want to see?

              3.  Whose is this mobile?
              4.  Which is your bag, Sonam?

              5.  What did you say?

          Note the given facts about interrogative pronouns.
              1.  (i)  Who, when, whose are used for people only.

                  (ii)  What is used for things only.

                 (iii)  Which is used for both people and things.

              2.  Who enquires about the name or information regarding the family.
                  Who is she?

                  The answer can be—

                   (i)  She is Nisha.                (Name)

                   (ii)  She is Mrs Batra.           (Family)
