Kinds of Pronouns
Personal Pronouns
Some pronouns are used for persons only.
I me mine myself
we us ours ourselves
you you yours yourself /yourselves
he him his himself
she her hers herself
it it — itself
they them theirs themselves
Three Person
In English Grammar, person is divided into three parts.
1. The First Person — the person who speaks
2. The Second Person — the person who is spoken to (listener)
3. The Third Person — the person who is spoken of (other than both)
The Pronouns of the Three Persons
First Person Second Person Third Person
I, me, mine you he, him, his, himself
we, us, ours yours she, her, hers, herself
myself yourself it, itself
ourselves yourselves they, them, theirs, themselves
Order of Personal Pronouns
If pronouns of different persons are used in one and the similar sentence, their order should be as
follows.
