Use of Simple Future Tense

This tense expresses the actions that will take place in a future time.

            1. My brother will come from London tomorrow.

            2. I shall learn English next year.

This tense expresses new actions in a future time. The simple present tense is used

with the simple future. The new action usually puts a condition.

I will bring a gift for you when I go to Shimla.

          Negative Sentence

To make negative sentences in simple future tense, we use will not with singular and
plural subjects and shall not with I and we.

          Read the given sentences.

            1. She will not wait for me.

            2. We shall not complete our work by the afternoon.

          Interrogative Sentence

To make interrogative sentences in simple future tense, we begin a sentence with

          will/shall.

          Read the given sentences.

            1. Will she wait for me?

            2. Shall we complete our work by the afternoon?

Note: In modern English, it is preferred to use will with I and we, too.
