The word until shows a particular point of time.

The word so tells the result of something.

1. I was ill yesterday, so I did not go to school.

2. I was at the hill station, so I played in the snow.

Although

The word although is used when something is surprising.

1. Although he is very rich, he is not happy.

2. Although she was tired, she worked hard.
