             Rewrite the following sentences by joining them using the words and, or, because
             or but.

               1.  I like English. I like maths.

          The words used to join two or more words or groups of words or sentences together
          are called conjunctions.


          And



          The word and is used to join similar ideas.

            1.  Amit and Sameer are my friends. (two nouns)

            2.  They are polite and honest. (two adjectives)

            3.  Amit, Sameer and I sit together. (two nouns and a pronoun)
          The word and also joins two sentences.

            1.  She washed her clothes.

            2.  She hung her clothes.
