(Strangers on a train journey)
Your teacher will divide you into groups of four. Imagine all four of you are sitting in a train
compartment. You are strangers to each other. Initiate a conversation with each other on
any common topic like weather, politics, trains, etc.
Participants : 4 students; Time of preparation : 10 minutes
For performance : 3–4 minutes

Passenger 1 : It is vey hot today.
Passenger 2 : It is the peak of summer.
Passenger 3 : Please open the window.
Passenger 4 : No, the dust and heat are coming inside. Let’s just keep the shutters down.

Passenger 1 : By the way, I am Subodh from Kolkata.
Passenger 2 : I am Subhash.
Passenger 3 : I am Zafar. I am from Hyderabad.
Passenger 4 : And I am Rajesh. Where are you from Subhash?

Passenger 2 : I am from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. Where are you from, Rajesh?
Passenger 4 : I am from Delhi. I am going to Mumbai for office work.
Keeping in view of the above value points, all the four students as passengers would create
their own account on what all of them would discuss.

wit. Keeping in view the value points given below, you will write your own account for the
skit you would present. Create a hilarious situational comedy skit with a happy ending.
