Example 2: An orchard has mango trees and papaya trees. Out of the total 3845 trees,
there are 1986 mango trees. How many papaya trees are there?
Solution: Total number of trees = 3845 Th H T O
Number of mango trees = 1986 2 17 13 15

Number of papaya trees = 3845 – 1986 = 1859 – 1 9 8 6
Hence, the number of papaya trees is 1859. 1 8 5 9
