Opened Programs Icons

When an app is minimized, it shrinks to the taskbar in the form of an icon. By placing the mouse pointer on the
minimized icon on the taskbar, we see a small preview of the app. We can reopen the app by clicking on its preview.

Clock

The clock icon displays the current time and date.

Show Desktop Button Show Desktop Button

The Show Desktop button is present at the extreme right of the taskbar. This button
minimizes all the opened windows and shows the desktop when we click on it.
STARTING OR OPENING AN APP

There are different ways to start or open an app. To open an app, follow the given steps:
Step 1: Click on the Start button.

Step 2: Select the tile of the app (program) you want to open and click on it.
Or

Scroll the mouse to search the name of the app in the apps list and click on the name of the app that
you want to open.

The selected app will be opened in a new window. Each window has a Title bar at its top that shows the name of
the opened program. Here, you see the window of the calculator application with its Title bar.
