It is critical to discuss online safety with students who may not always be aware of the dangers.
Let’s read about Internet safety.
Keep your information private.
Never reveal personal information like your last name, address,
1 phone number, or any information online that can give away your
identity.
Be mindful of what you share online.
Posts can be tracked down and traced back to you (and posting 2
derogatory comments can result in escalation and even arrests).
Always log off.
3 Make it a habit to always sign out of your social media accounts
after using them and should also change your passwords at regular
intervals.
Check your settings.
Be sure to learn about your privacy settings on social networks. 4
Don’t forget our antivirus and antispyware.
5 Make sure your computer is protected from outside threats like
viruses which can damage your services or steal your data.
Never agree to meet someone you’ve only talked to online.
Don’t agree to meet people you have connected with on social 6
media.
