and Discoverers
Inventors are the individuals who develop a new process, appliance, machine, or article, while
discoverers are those who observe a scientific or natural phenomenon for the first time.

1 This German physicist discovered X-rays. He won the Nobel
Prize in Physics in 1901 for this path-breaking invention.
