                                           He  was  killed  in  action  battling  Pakistani  forces  during  the  Kargil
                                    1      War  in  1999  at  the  age  of  24.  He  was  given  the  highest  wartime
                                           gallantry award Param Vir Chakra posthumously on 7th July 1999.

        He  showed  the  utmost  courage,  gallantry,  and  determination  to
        capture the Tiger Hill on the night of 3rd and 4th July 1999 during           2
        the Kargil War. He was awarded the Param Vir Chakra.

                                           He and his team climbed several hundreds of metres high ice wall
                                           and captured Pakistan’s Quaid post. He was awarded the Param Vir
                                    3      Chakra on 26 January 1988.

        He was an Indian Army Major in the 1st Battalion, 8th Gorkha Rifles         4
        Regiment.  He  was  awarded  the  Param  Vir  Chakra.  India’s  highest
        military decoration. ________________________




                                           He was in the forward company of 14 GUARDS during the attack
                                    5      on the enemy defences in Gangasagar in the Indo-Pak war in 1971.
                                           He was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra.

            Naib Subedar Yogendra Singh Yadav, Lt. Colonel Dhan Singh Thapa        chopper crash in December 2021.
