Museum, Arc de Triomphe, or the Notre-Dame de Paris, there’s something about this
city that distinguishes it from others.

            (2) This beloved city offers great places to be at night. Either you want to enjoy your
night al fresco with your friends, or want to party at night, Paris has the right places
for the night owls. But Paris is a city of taste too, and, hence, not only the party
mongers have things happening for them at night in the month of October, but art
lovers, too. If you are a person who has a taste for arts and craving for knowledge,
then Paris offers you the ‘Nuit Blanche’, every first Saturday in the month of October.
An all-night arts festival. On this night, the museums and art galleries of Paris open
their arms to all the visitors free of charge.

            (3) The buildings of historic importance in Paris open their arms to the visitors in the
glowing lights of the October night. The museums are open all night and offer great
treasures of art, culture, and history to the inquisitive minds. Les Grandes Eaux
Musicales, the Musical Fountains Show transforms Versailles’ gardens into a magical
environment, with the water of the fountains dancing in time with classical music and
                 a dazzling light show.

            (4) However, while you are planning the trip to Paris to enjoy the nights of October, it
is important that you make yourself aware of a few things, so that the experience
turns out to be more fulfilling and rewarding.
            (5) The museums are open all over the city, but you cannot visit all. Hence, you must
plan in advance the number of museums you would like to visit and try to restrict
the number as low as possible as you may really not find the time to visit more than
two or three museums in one night.

            (6) The museums will be crowded at midnight as it is a nocturnal event. Hence, to avoid
the rush and see everything well, you must plan your outing accordingly. Keep the
most important places for early visits and rest of them for later periods as the bigger
and the more popular ones will get crowded in the latter part of the night.
