XVIII. Given below are some instructions. Use them to complete the paragraph that follows.


                                             Paan Coconut Laddoo
              Ingredients:
              •  4–5 paan leaves                        •  2–3 drops edible green colour
              •  3 tbsp gulkand                         •  250 gms desiccated coconut
              •  2 tbsp dry fruits, grinded             •  1 tbsp ghee for greasing
              •  400 gms condensed milk
              Method:
              •  Cut the paan leaves in long shreds, and keep it aside.
              •  In a bowl, add gulkand and dry fruits and mix well.
              •  In  a  pan  add  condensed  milk,  paan  leaves,  green  colour  and  desiccated  coconut
                  and cook on low flame.
              •  Mix well till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and comes together as dough.
              •  Switch off the gas and let it rest for 3 to 4 minutes.
              •  Pinch a small portion of the paan mixture and flatten with the help of thumb. Place
                  a bit of gulkand and dry fruits mixture inside and roll into balls like ladoos.
              •  Roll the ladoos in desiccated coconut and keep aside.
              •  Serve on paan leaves with gulkand on top.

                                         Chocolate Krack-Jack Pudding

              Custard powder and cocoa are mixed in a little milk to form cocoa custard mixture. In a
              pan, sugar is melted in the rest of the milk. After a boil in the milk, the cocoa mixture
              and cashew nuts are added. When it is thickened, it is removed from the flame and
              butter, condensed milk, and vanilla essence are added and mixed well. A dish is greased
              and biscuits dipped in milk are arranged in it. Batter is poured on top and another layer
              of biscuits is arranged on it. Again batter is poured on top and another layer of biscuits
              is arranged on it. It is then refrigerated for 30 minutes and served.
