XVI. Given below are some instructions. Use them to complete the paragraph that follows.


                                                   Kashmiri Kahwa
                  Ingredients:
                  •  water—3 cups                           •  kahwa tea leaves—½ teaspoon

                  •  cinnamon stick—1                       •  crushed almonds—5–6
                  •  clove—1                                •  rose petals—8–10
                  •  cardamom pods—2
                  Method:
                  •  Put water to boil in a pan.
                  •  Add the spices—cinnamon stick, clove, and cardamom pods.

                  •  After 3–4 minutes, add the kahwa leaves and let it heat till water turns yellow in
                     colour.

                  •  Put crushed almonds in a tea cup and pour hot kahwa over it.
                  •  Sprinkle crushed rose petals on it.

            XVII. Rewrite the given recipe in active voice.

                                                    Matar Kachori

                  Oil is heated in a pan and onion and ginger garlic paste is sauted. Peas, salt, pepper,
                  garam masala, green chilli, and red chilli powder are added. Some water is sprinkled
                  and it is cooked until the peas are completely cooked. The mixture is then mashed to
                  be made into a coarse mix using a pav bhaji masher. A small round is made from the
                  khasta  dough  and  it  is  flattened  out.  It  is  filled  with  pea  mixture  and  rolled  up.  It  is
                  flattened out and deep fried. It is garnished with onion rings, lemon, and chillies. It is
                  served hot with curd and green chutney.
