KEY LEARNING
• All of us face dilemmas: It is normal to find yourself in confusing situations where it becomes
difficult to decide the ideal course of action. Any action should be taken after due consideration
of consequences.
• It is not always easy to do the right thing: Sometimes, even if it is obvious what the right
thing to do would be, you may not be able to find the courage to do it. You may be worried
about angering someone or losing favour with them or something else. You need to ask yourself
what the long-term effects would be and act accordingly.
• It is important to be compassionate: Even if you do not agree with someone and disapprove
of their actions, try to keep in mind that they may have felt forced to do it due to some pressure
or difficult situation.
• You cannot make everyone happy: It is a fact that even if you do everything you can to be
perfect, you will end up displeasing somebody or the other. Because it is impossible to keep
everyone happy at all times, it is better to stick to your values and do what you feel is right.
