Saving a File

You should save a file after making any changes in it.

To save a new file:
1. On the Application Bar, click the File menu and select the Save As option.

The Save As dialog box opens.

2. In the File name box, type a name for the file. 3

3. Click the Save button.
Photoshop saves the file with the extension .psd.

Opening a Saved File

You can open a saved file to view or edit it.

To open a saved file:
1. On the Application Bar, click the File menu and select the Open option.

The Open dialog box opens.

2. Select the file you want to open. 3
3. Click the Open button.

The selected file gets opened in the Photoshop Workspace.
