CHANGING CHART LAYOUT

The overall arrangement of a chart’s elements is called its Layout. You can apply various predefined
chart layouts that include a combination of different chart elements.

To change layout of a chart:
1. Select the chart whose layout you want to change.

2. On the Chart Tools Design tab, click the Quick Layout button in the Chart Layouts group.
The Quick Layout gallery appears.

3. Select the desired layout.

Excel changes the layout of the selected chart.

Knowledge Discovery Subject Enrichment

Excel enables you to switch the row and column data, which swaps the series and categories
without affecting the source data. To switch row and column values, select the chart and
click the Switch Row/Column button in the Data group on the Chart Tools Design tab.
