3D Printer

A 3D Printer is a computer-aided manufacturing device
that creates three-dimensional objects from a digital file. It
receives digital data from the computer and builds a three-

dimensional model of an object using different materials.
The creation of a 3D model of an object is achieved by laying
down successive layers of a material until the entire object

is created. Artificial human limbs, produced by 3D printers,
have been successfully implanted through surgery.

Satellite Navigation Devices

A Satellite Navigation device (SatNav device) uses
one or more of several global navigation satellite
systems to determine the device’s geographical

position and provide navigational advice. Depending
on the software used, the SatNav device may display
the position of the device on a map as geographic

coordinates, or may offer routing directions. SatNav
devices are used in cars, smartphones, smartwatches, and personal security
devices.

Speech Synthesizer

Speech synthesis is the artificial production of human speech. A computer system
used for this purpose is called a Speech Synthesizer and can be implemented as
software or hardware. A Text-to-Speech (TTS) system converts normal-language

text into speech. Such devices use Artificial Intelligence to enable people with visual
impairments or reading disabilities to listen to written words on a computer. The
most common application of such devices has been in the use of screen readers
for people with visual impairment.
