SAVING A PROJECT 1

A saved project can be opened and edited again later.
To save an untitled project in Scratch 3:

1. On the Menu Bar, click File.
A drop-down menu appears. 2

2. In the menu, click Save to your
computer.

The Save As dialog box appears.
3. Select the folder in which you want to

save the project.
4. Type the name for the project in the

File name box.
5. Click the Save button. 4

The project is saved, and its name is
displayed in the Menu Bar.

Scratch 3 saves a project with the extension .sb3.

OPENING A PROJECT
To open a saved project in Scratch 3:

1. On the Menu Bar, click File.

A drop-down menu appears.
2. In the menu, click Load from your

computer.
The Open dialog box appears.

3. Select the desired project and click
the Open button.

The selected project is opened in the 3
Scratch window.

EXITING SCRATCH 3

To exit Scratch 3, click the Cross button on the Title bar.
