STARTING PAINT
To start Paint: 2
1. Click the Start button.
The Start menu appears. 3
2. In the list of programs, click Windows
Accessories.
3. Under Windows Accessories, click Paint.
Paint window opens.

The main components of the Paint window are:
Components Functions
It displays the name of the program and the drawing open in the
Title Bar
Drawing area.
Quick Access It has buttons to perform common tasks such as save a file, undo
Toolbar or redo.
Drawing Area It is the blank white area where we make drawings.
It is the strip above the Drawing area which contains various tools
Ribbon
to make and colour drawings.
File Tab It provides options to save, open, and create new drawings.
